MechroKnights v0.1 Devlog
We're thrilled to announce that MechroKnights v0.1 is now live! It's been an exhilarating two weeks for us, diving headfirst into our very first game jam and we can't wait for you to experience what we've made.
Development Journey:
Developing MechroKnights came with its fair share of challenges. From unexpected technical challenges to refining our game design on the fly, every obstacle was a learning experience. Despite the hurdles, the passion for creating MechroKnights kept us going, and we're proud of what we've achieved in such a short timeframe.
Features in MechroKnights v0.1:
In this version, you'll find one playable character with the ability to shoot, block, and perform light and heavy melee attacks. We also created 1 arena to fight in, the castle. We hope to expand the stage and player selection in the future
Future Plans:
We weren't able to add everything we had planned for. Initially we wanted to include a necromancer mech, hence the name MechroKnights: Mech + Necro + Knights. Unfortunately, we couldn't bring the necromancer to life in this release, but fear not! We're committed to expanding MechroKnights, and the necromancer is high on our list. Stay tuned for future updates!
